Fall Barn Wedding
This fall barn wedding had DIY written all over it. From the custom napkins to the handpicked vintage china and flatware no item was left untouched. Polished brass chandeliers were purchased off craigslist or found at local flea markets and refinished in a beautiful ivory then strung with crystals. Clear votives were found at SCRAP SF and treated to look like mercury glass. Lounge areas were constructed on either side of the dance floor from hay bales covered in vintage linens and pillows paired with flea market tables refinished in the same ivory as the chandeliers above and then antiqued. The design team skipped the florist and bought flowers wholesale from a local grower out of Half Moon Bay creating simple and stunning arrangements in vintage bottles throughout the dining room, complimented by eucalyptus garlands and swags, adorned with crimson dahlias, throughout the rest of the space. The altar was strung with an arrangement of vintage windows found at the salvage yard Urban Ore in Berkeley.
